Last year, an exhibition in memory of the British singer Amy Winehouse was set up in London's Jewish Museum, which is moving to Vienna this year.

From Paris Vogue to Chanel fashion shows, she was Amy Winehouse with its unusual bouffant hairstyle and with a distinctive line above the eyes in the style of the sixties inspiration for many designers, editors and stylists. The influence of her style can be seen in the many editorials that were created as an inspiration for her appearance. For the angelic brand Victoria's Secret, Adriana Lima posed as Amy for Love magazine, and Isabeli Fontana walked the streets of London with the look of the singer for Vogue Paris. Her music was one of the most popular in all major and minor fashion shows. The singer died very young, she was only twenty-seven years old, and thus joined the famous Club 27, which includes celebrities such as Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain and Jim Morrison. As noted deceased singers, Amy was significantly different from other mainstream pop stars.

Autonomy
While her colleagues gravitated towards different stylists and photographers and constantly changed their style, Amy has always been true to her own style, adding a personal touch to it. She started her career in 2003 with her first album Frank, with a relatively "normal" appearance, but her famous personal style - tight black mini dress, lush black hair styled in almost always the same sixties hairstyle, thickly lined eyes with black eyeliner, massive red and gold earrings - quickly became turned into something recognizable and original, as it was interpretation of her music. A few years later, when due to the popularity of his second album Back to Black Amy occupied the covers of many popular magazines, her transformation (transformation) became complete. Her hair then resembled a beehive, she added a wonderful amount of eyeliner to her eyes, her image became coherent, a fashion icon she flourished. As if on an assembly line, she wore mini dresses with eye-catching belts cinched higher around the waist, high-heeled shoes (or ballet flats when she wasn't on stage), her always bright push-ups the bra was revealed little by little, the hair ornaments were richly detailed, often in the form of a red flower or a large bow. Sometimes she even donned umbrellas for cocktails, she also liked to wear a heart-shaped brooch, which she received as a gift from her husband Blake Fielder. Amy was often photographed wearing Fred Perry polo shirts, which she almost always paired with skinny jeans or denim cut-off shorts, so the British brand quickly struck a deal with Amy and her signature collection was born. The collaboration was flawless and the photos from this campaign are among her best, especially considering her infamous and not-so-famous paparazzi photo documentation.

Brand - Tattoos
The talented singer's tattoos are still one of her trademarks and something many young fans have emulated. They were fifties style and matched the hair and makeup. She dedicated the horseshoe to her father, husband and late grandmother. Naked pin-up and the girl had to correct it with eyeliner; it is known that she made the top part of women's underwear for her when she appeared on American television for the Grammy music awards.

A fashion muse
Fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld claimed Amy as his own Muse and in December 2007, all of his models had beehive hairstyles similar to the one worn by Amy. Amy Winehouse in this way she reached what many consider to be the pinnacle fashion icons, as it inspired the collection of the prestigious brand Chanel. She was an excellent choice for inspiration, as her appearance was considered interesting, rare and witty. She seemed to know exactly what she was doing when it came to dressing, as she felt good in what she wore and that's why her fashion sense became a magnet for fashion connoisseurs. In February 2008, he is at the opening of the store Fendi sang for the fashionable crowd and hung out with two more American fashion icons, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, as well as Karl Lagerfeld. And you could definitely say that Amy represented British fashion, as she wore a Fendi dress elegantly styled in her style, joked with typical British humor and claimed to know nothing about fashion. After her tragic death, it is fashion house Fendi said that the sadness over the loss of such a unique talent, who in many ways transcended music, fashion and culture, is unimaginable. In addition to many recognizable fashion designers, recently also Jean Paul Gaultier paid tribute to the great singer. Although it is known that he Madonna has always been a great inspiration, this time he devoted himself to the deceased singer and completely concentrated, taking advantage of Amy's love for the fashion style of the fifties and sixties of the last century and paying tribute to her in a fashion show at the fashion week before last year in Paris.

Sex, drugs and...
That which clearly defined Amy's style, was certainly raw and unabashed sexuality combined with her music. She looked for inspiration for dressing in the things she loved, always dressed in something short, tight and provocative. Amy was so unique and original that you could say she was irreplaceable. After her death, there remains a sense of great emptiness, and it is a great shame that her legacy is not greater. Even before the series Mad Men and popularization fashion of the fifties and sixties Amy boldly wore vibrant pieces of clothing and defied monotony, trends and mass fashion. Her fight with her demons has failed, so it remains only speculation what she would do in the future. She would certainly continue to develop her own fashion style that would build on and draw inspiration from her new music.
