Aperol spritz sorbet
Ingredients
- Ingredients for the sorbet:
- 3 cups of water
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of Aperol
- 1 cup Prosecco
- juice of 1 large orange
- Thinly sliced peel of 1 orange
Directions
- Preparation of syrup: Mix water and sugar in a medium-sized saucepan. Heat until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
- Adding flavors: Stir Aperol, prosecco and orange juice into the chilled syrup.
- Freezing: Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions. If you don't have an appliance, pour the mixture into a shallow bowl and place in the freezer. Stir every hour with a fork to form ice crystals.
