The largest and most famous photography agency in the world, Magnum Photos, is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year. On this occasion, three exhibitions will be presented in Ljubljana with a rich accompanying program and with a special emphasis on the work of the central protagonist and co-founder of Magnum, Robert Cape.
Magnum Photos marks this year 70 years of existence. On this occasion, the Photon prepared central exhibition, a retrospective of the Magnum co-founder Roberta Cape in Cankarjev dom, and two additional exhibitions – in Photon Gallery and in Hungarian Cultural Center (Balassi Institute).

Exhibition titled Close Enough? Close enough? Photon Gallery brings a selection sixty works from the rich history of Magnum, including some iconic images of the big names in the history of photography, from Robert Cape, Herbert Liszt, Bruce Davidson, Elliot Erwitt, by Werner Bischof, Martin Parr and many others.
It will also take place in conjunction with the exhibition in the Photon Gallery rich companion program, as well as in Cankarjev dom.
In the Photon Gallery, it will be possible not only to see, but exceptionally also buy modern enlargements of Magnum photos. In addition, numerous publications and a range of products equipped with Magnum photos will be available.
