The greatest entertainer of the 20th century is David Bowie

The late musician and artist David Bowie, who we said goodbye to on January 10, 2016, has been named the greatest entertainer of the 20th century.

BBC Two thus created a survey as part of the historical Icon series, in which he asked people to "evaluate the achievements of the most important and influential figures of the 20th century in seven different fields of human endeavour". Alan Turing is the winner in the scientist category, Ernest Shackleton in the category of researchers and Nelson Mandela in the leader category.
In the entertainment category, the flattering title went to Bowie (beating Marilyn Monroe, Charlie Chaplin and Billie Holiday), who will On February 5, he competed with other winners in categories for "the greatest personality of the 20th century".
