The youth organization "Germen Crew", known for the use of graffiti as an expression, joined forces for the Mexican government and in good spirit covered the town of Palmitas in the district of Pachuca in a single rainbow mural. Together, they painted 209 houses or 20,000 square meters of facades in the fight against youth violence.

The Mexican government found a way to unite the community in the town of Palmitas: it enlisted the help of local graffiti artists to paint over the neighborhood. The so-called group of young people, "Germen Crew", painted just 209 houses, and with that united locals in the fight against youth violence.

And they were right! The group painted around 20 thousand square meters of facades in a single rainbow mural that stretches across the city. According to reports streetartnews 452 families or about 1808 people said that the project was on them had a positive impact and that violence among young people is almost completely eradicated.
