Italy, our western neighbor, boasts many breathtaking beaches. Some are more populated, others less so, but we have selected some of the most beautiful for you, where you can surrender to the sun and the sea already this summer.

Atrani, Campania

The small, picturesque village of Atrani, located along the popular Amalfi Coast, is one of Italy's most iconic seaside resorts. The village has less than a thousand inhabitants, most of whom are engaged in fishing. Atrani is located at the foot of two steep cliffs and boasts a beautiful beach by the Tyrrhenian Sea, which is made all the more interesting by the colorful village in the background.

Spiaggia Rena Bianca, Sardinia

One of the most famous Sardinian beaches resembles the long sandy beaches of the Caribbean. It is located in the north of the island, and along its length it leads over granite boulders and stone formations, which give the landscape a fairy-tale appearance. The beautiful sandy beauty is not suitable for swimming fans, as the water is quite shallow and it takes quite a bit of walking to be able to swim peacefully in the crystal clear water.

Spiaggia dei Conigli, Lampedusa

The beach, which has earned the name "Rabbit Beach", is located on the southern side of the island of Lampedusa. The long sandy beach boasts white sand, and due to the shallow entrance to the sea, it is also very suitable for the youngest. It is considered one of the most beautiful coastal areas in all of Europe, and the crystal sea that surrounds it is perfect for snorkeling.

Baia dei Turchi, Apulia

Baia dei Turchi is located in the heart of a protected nature reserve in Apulia, north of Otranto. It is separated from the rest of nature by fragrant pine trees that provide shade in the summer heat. Sunbathers find their place on the strip of white sand, and swimmers dive into the sea, which is considered one of the cleanest in the country.

Vendicari Nature Reserve, Sicily

Near the beautiful city of Syracuse, there is a nature reserve where storks and flamingos live. They also walk along the famous beaches within the reserve, the most popular of which are the beaches of San Lorenzo and Calamosche. They are famous for their uncivilized nature and the amazing nature that surrounds them, so they are an excellent choice for anyone looking for peace and quiet.

Cala Tonnarella, Sicily

The small hidden cove of Cala Tonnarella in the Zingaro Nature Reserve is accessible only to pedestrians, so it promises the peace and quiet that many on vacation tirelessly seek. The nearest road is an hour's walk away, but the effort is worth it, as an uninhabited piece of paradise awaits you at the end of the road.

San Vito Lo Capo, Sicily

Three kilometers of golden sand are the reason why tourists love to visit the coast of Trapani. The beach is located in the north-west of Sicily, and in its background rises the mighty mountain of Monaco, while your view looks towards the clear and pleasantly warm sea. If you find the will to explore the town of San Vito Lo Capo in the heat, you'll find plenty of interesting shops and restaurants.
