Land Rover has conquered almost all terrains of this world with its cars. But someone had the idea to improve the legendary "off road" tradition. Obviously the best idea was to pair a second series Land Rover with some tracked vehicle. The result of this unusual love is surely the most off-road Land Rover ever.
The idea stuck To Scot James A. Cuthbertson a long time ago 1958. It is not surprising that the idea came from those parts, because Scotland is interspersed with peat bogs, over which even on their best day off-road vehicles can hardly make their way. With help caterpillars it was also possible over terrain that would be completely inaccessible by car. It was necessary to take time for everything, since the crawler does not reach more than 32 km/h.
The specimen in the pictures is restored and certainly the most preserved of them all. They were supposed to be made 20 copies, which it is not even known if they still exist. The value of this specialty is estimated somewhere between 55 and 67 thousand euros, and if you won't be able to buy it yet, you can think of the latest one for a good 50 thousand Land Rover, but unfortunately no caterpillars.
