Neon Chapel in Berlin: the church everyone wants to go to

American artist James Turrell deals with light and space. He has been inspiring us with his works of art for more than half a century. He says: ''My works are your vision and not so much mine, although your vision is the fruit of mine.''

Turrell namely, he 'furnished' the memorial chapel there in his own way, so that this religious building now does not resemble the classical ones. The chapel that is surrounded by the graves of famous poets, artists and philosophers, stands in the middle of the cemetery. Every night at 9 p.m lights are turned on in the chapel and the sunset in Berlin is staged. LED light is slowly overflowing from turquoise to dark blue, red, pink and burning orange color. The show goes on 2 hours, so that all visitors can have this unique experience. Turrell managed to combine the old and the new. Experiencing the futuristic colors and light in the cemetery could be described as walking through a spaceship parked somewhere in the wild west 150 years ago.

If you are headed to Berlin, take a peek there.
