The Audi Q7 e-tron is at least as futuristic as its name. It is an incredible excess of technology in which all of Audi's ideas about the future of mobility are gathered. The so-called plug-in hybrid hides a 3.0 liter TDI in its nose, assisted by an electric motor. In the ideal combination of the two, the Q7 becomes a sports athlete that needs only 6.2 seconds from 0 km/h to 100 km/h. Of course, it is also available to customers in Slovenia.
Audi Q7 The e-tron is the cherry on top of the Q7 model range. Its special feature is the combination of a 3.0-liter, high-efficiency V6 diesel engine of the latest generation, developing a power of 190 kW (258 hp) and torque 600 Nm and an electric motor that provides power 94 kW and torque 350 Nm, and together with the slip clutch is integrated into the 8-speed tiptronic transmission. The latter permanent four-wheel drive quattro is supported by intelligent software that distributes torque to individual wheels during fast cornering. In bends, it brakes the wheels on the inside of the bend to a minimum, thus further improving the handling and stability of the vehicle. In practice, this means that the inner wheels brake a bit in a turn and thus help the vehicle in its physical stability.
Range of up to 56 kilometers with purely electric drive
A lithium-ion battery consists of 168 prismatic cells and is liquid-cooled. With capacity 17.3 kWh according to the criteria of the New European Driving Cycle (NEVC) in the electric mode of operation, it enables a range of up to 56 kilometers. Thus, the total possible range of the car The total possible range with the TDI engine is up to 1.320 kilometers. Also, the special new multi-phase charging technology enables charging with a power of 7.2 kW. The battery is thus fully charged in less than two and a half hours at an industrial electrical outlet.
Maximizing reach with superior intelligence
The hybrid drive management system ensures intelligent, flexible and highly efficient regulation of drive modes Audi Q7 e-tron quattro. The driver can choose between three modes. Regime EV gives preference to electric drive. In the hybrid mode, the system for managing the hybrid drive largely decides freely on the type of drive, while in the battery hold mode it tries to save the available electrical energy for a later time. In addition, depending on the driving situation, the boost function can be activated, the SUV can use kinetic energy (such as sailing), and recuperation can also be carried out - in everyday driving, braking is mostly done via the electric motor, which in this case works as a generator. As a rule, the Audi Q7 e-tron quattro starts with an electric motor. When switching to hybrid mode and for the boost function, the driver must press the active gas pedal (another Audi innovation) past a certain point of resistance. The position of the resistance point is adjustable according to the battery charge.
Numbers from another world
The Audi Q7 e-tron quattro complies with the relevant standard for plug-in hybrids according to the criteria of the New European Driving Cycle (NEVC) and consumes 1.8 l/100 km (CO2 emissions 48 g/km), while providing a system power of 275 kW (373 hp ), and an excessive amount of torque, which is as much as 700 Nm. The SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 230 km/h. Very impressive data for such a large SUV.
Some of them will also be driven in Slovenia
With comparable equipment, the Audi Q7 e-tron is about 16 thousand more expensive than the regular Audi Q7. Thus, it costs at least 87,600 euros, but it should be noted that it comes with slightly more equipment. So it spoils you with 19-inch rims, a large navigation and its own light signature of the front headlights. According to the importer, there will be more than 10 of them on Slovenian roads by the end of the year.
