The new BMW 8 Series is definitely one of the most anticipated cars of the first half of 2017. With it, BMW reopens the chapter of the number 8, which has always been the pinnacle of the range and the cherry on top of the BMW brand. And it was about time. We've waited too long!
The new BMW 8 Series should have hit the roads yet towards the end of 2018 and also therefore at BMW they emphasize that it is a concept vehicle, but it has a lot in common with the final product. We have already experienced something similar to the i8 model, which hit the roads only slightly modified. And we believe that it will be the same this time.
All of you who remember almost 30 year old series 8, you will find strong design connections with the current concept and a beautiful historical connection that is visible in the lateral line and the lowered front part of the car and the pronounced rear, which already predicts the direction in which the designers at BMW will design their cars in the future.
Tehnical specifications new series 8 are not yet known, but we conclude that the known concern technique BMW stands for established excellent engine solutions reinforced with artificial intelligence presented in the current series 7.
BMW 8 series will definitely park itself, drive almost semi-autonomously, and under the hood will almost certainly exceed 500 horsepower, which will almost certainly be not only octane, but also electric.
