The tall beauty has a surprise for you: 5 things you probably don't know about Blake Lively

Despite the ubiquitous paparazzi, Blake Lively manages to keep most of her private life to herself. "My anonymity is something I value very much," she said in 2010. "Wanting to be an actor and wanting to be famous are two separate things." Since then, the 31-year-old actress married the man of her dreams, gave birth to two beautiful daughters (Inez and James) and filmed several films (Danger from the Deep, Milo za drago, Timeless Adaline...). What do you still not know about the shapely beauty?

1. It's Lively's Martha Stewart called her "idol" and said she was like a good fairy for her wedding to Reynolds in 2012. "Our wedding was becoming a disaster and we didn't know what to do, so we called Martha! She said: 'Don't worry, I'll fix it.' She sent us a team that saved us," Blake said. "Then she called her friends who have a house in South Carolina and prepared the most wonderful vacation for us."

2. While she grew up in an acting family, she did dreamed, that she will study at Stanford, but did not become an actress. Her mother gave her an excellent education, enrolling her in first grade three years early. "My mother told them I was 6 years old because I was very tall," says Lively. She slowly began to follow in her family's footsteps, competing for the role of Natalie Hillard in the movie Daddy in the Wings, which was eventually won by Mara Wilson. It was her brother Eric who convinced her to audition, which she then landed breakthrough role in the film Summer of Growing Up (2005). Her brother convinced her on a trip abroad. "In the middle of my second year, he decided that I needed to get to know the culture better, so he took me around Europe for two months," Blake said in 2006. "He sat me down and said, 'What are you going to do with your life?' I was 15 years old at the time. So I had to make a chart of things I could do, and I wasn't interested in any of it ... so I auditioned - to please him."

3. After their role in the film Summer of Growing Up, they did started to be advertised by her fans, who wanted, that she gets the role of Serena van der Woodsen in the series The Worker. The story goes something like this: Growing Up Summer fans posted several messages online, which caught the attention of director David Rapaport. "There were no Len Dunhams or Zooey Deschanels at the time - it was all about beauty and glamor but accessibility, and Blake was the 'it' girl," Rapaport said in 2015. "I was afraid that we wouldn't get her or that the audience wouldn't like her, honestly this show lived and died on her character." The producers felt that Lively was too "sunny and Californian" to play the role of an Upper East Side debutante. For the second audition, Blake straightened her hair and got the job. But the hair dramas don't end there. Since Blake got the part, she had to Leighton Meester, a natural blonde, to dye her hair dark brown for her audition for the role of Blair Waldorf. Lively was initially hesitant about the series contract and long-term commitment, but quickly changed her mind when the show's creators told her, what an enviable wardrobe Serena will have. "I think the lure for Blake was the opportunity for a wardrobe like that," said executive producer Josh Schwartz. "She was kind of like, 'Wait, wait, you're asking me to move to New York and wear the most amazing clothes, some of which I can keep for myself?!'"

4. Despite the roles party girls in movies like The City (2010) and Savages (2012), Lively told Vogue that she has never had a glass of alcohol in her life. But she broke the law: he smuggles spices from other countries and hides them in teddy bears. "I'm always traveling and immediately get excited when I find a new spice or a new sauce," Blake once said. “This is absolutely crazy, but I once wanted a New Orleans sauce and they wouldn't send it to me because it wasn't approved by the FDA (US Food and Drug Administration). I called the restaurant and said, 'Can you buy a teddy bear, open it up, put the sauce in it and send it to me?' And they said, 'No, we're not a cartel, we're not going to send you our sweet potato dip in a teddy bear.'"

5. Blake is very competitive in the game Guitar Hero, and her skill was even featured in one of the episodes of the first season of Opravljivka. Two years before she met her husband, Ryan Reynolds, on the set of Green Lantern, she revealed that she was looking for a romantic partner who shared her love of video games: “If a man can play Guitar Hero with me, sit at home, watch the Food Network and read magazines with me, then that's good. I don't think there are many guys who would find that fun. I am asking a lot.” In 2014, Blake said she competes in her spare time. “I go to tournaments in Brooklyn and fill my body with temporary tattoos to look like a rock star. No, because I AM a rock star. I made it to the semi-finals once, but unfortunately they didn't award points for style."
