Theater premiere: the comedy Leonce and Lena in MGL

Theatrical premiere

On September 15, 2016, a comedy written by the German playwright Karl Georg Büchner will premiere on the big stage of the Ljubljana City Theater (MGL). The comedy Leonce and Lena will take us into the world of funny stories of a prince and a princess who are fighting against an arranged marriage, while at the same time, the merry-go-round observes the social mistakes of the time.

A prince lives in the kingdom of Popo Leonce, princess Lena and Pipi reigns over the land. They don't know about each other. Leon's father King Peter is adamant that he finds a bride for his son and thereby provide for the heir to the throne. It is to Prince Leonc intended for Lena – but the two royal children are getting married they resist and run away. On the way to Italy they meet and fall in love – both of them not knowing who the other is. In both kingdoms, however preparations for the wedding continue without interruption

Comedy Leonce and Lena will be September 15, 2016 premiered its performance at the big stage of the City Theater of Ljubljana.
