Fans of the director Wes Anderson can indulge in an adventurous ride on the English railway tracks with a train whose interior was inspired by Anderson's personal style. Part of the train is also the "Cygnus" wagon from 1950, which is something special.
Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
The authentic ride on this luxury train from Paris to Istanbul takes six days and you can choose from a range of different routes and journeys. The famous Orient Express also became famous in a series of literary works, such as the detective story "Murder on the Orient Express" written by the famous Agatha Christie. Today's Orient Expres is a combination of Art Deco and the elegance of the golden age of trains, while the retro carriages from the 1920s have been elegantly renovated and offer a superb gastronomic offer.
Belmond Royal Scotsman
The Royal Scotsman is a great way to visit Scotland's lochs, castles and nature, all from the comfort of your cabin. His route runs through the hilly Scottish Highlands, and his travels are often inspired by a wide variety of tourist attractions and landmarks. There is also a real spa center on the train, where you can treat yourself to a facial, skin care or manicure.
The Ghana
One of the longest rail journeys in Australia is called The Ghan and covers the route from Darwin all the way to Adelaide. You can choose between Gold and Platinum classes, the latter offering guests large cabins with living and sleeping areas and personal service.
Andean Explorer
South America's first luxury train travels at unimaginable altitudes, taking you all the way from Cusco, Peru to the highest valleys in the Andes, to the highest point of Lake Titicaca and all the way to Arequipa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Each wagon reflects the cultural heritage of Peru, and the color scheme is inspired by the Peruvian nature.
Eastern & Oriental Express
The Eastern & Oriental Express travels through Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, and from the open part of the carriage you can enjoy beautiful views of nature and the surrounding areas. The interior of the train was inspired by the 1932 film Shanghai Express, and all sleeping cabins boast their own luxury bathrooms.
