New series 2020
The Outsider (HBO, January 13)
The crime drama, based on the best-selling book of the same name by the famous Stephen King, follows the investigation of the gruesome murder of an 11-year-old boy and the mysterious circumstances of this horrific crime. Based on the trailer, The Outsider has "that small-town mystery" of Sharp Objects and the subtle creepiness of Castle Rock. It is also predicted to be one of the best adaptations of King's works to date!
Star Trek: Picard (CBS All Access, January 23)
In the main role of the Star Trek: Picard series, we will be able to see the legendary Patrick Stewart, who will reprise his iconic role of Captain Jean-Luc Picard after 18 years. As expected, not much is known about the series, but it is known that the former captain of the USS Enterprise will deal with his feelings about the death of his friend Data and also the fall of the Romulan Empire.
High Fidelity (Hulu, February 14)
The series, which was originally intended for Disney+, will see Zoë Kravitz take on the role of John Cusak, who starred in the 2000 film adaptation. That means she'll be a music store owner who sees music as a way to cope with life's various struggles. troubles. Little Fires Everywhere (Hulu, March 18)

Hollywood (Netflix, May 2020)
Prolific producer Ryan Murphy previously produced The Politician series for Netflix, and Hollywood will be his first original series for the streaming giant. The series will explore Hollywood and the sex industry, and what he says "everything has changed, but at the same time nothing has changed". The series is considered a love letter to the golden age of Hollywood.
Impeachment: American Crime Story (FX, Sept. 27)
The third season of the Emmy-winning series will focus on the saga of US President Bill Clinton's scandal with Monica Lewinsky (who is among the producers of the series). Sarah Paulson will star as Linda Tripp, Beanie Feldstein will play Monica, Clive Owen will play Clinton, and Annaleigh Ashford will play Paula Jones. The premiere date (the last two months before the 2020 elections) immediately raised a lot of dust, which means that it is possible that the premiere of the series will be postponed.
Space Force (Netflix, 2020)
Probably the most anticipated comedy series of 2020, inspired by US President Trump's idea of a space force as the sixth branch of the military. It was created by Steve Carell and Greg Daniels (The Office), and John Malkovich, Ben Schwartz, Diana Silvers and Tawn Newsome will also embark on a mission to create a new branch of the US military.
Hunters (Amazon, 2020)
Amazon Prime Video is going after Nazis this time. The thriller, set in 1977 New York, will follow a diverse group of people (led by Al Pacino) who discover that hundreds of high-ranking Nazi officials are living in the United States and that they are planning another genocide.
Bridgerton (Netflix, 2020)
The great Shonda Rhimes is finally joining the Netflix production team. The series will be based on Julie Quinn's best-selling romance novel series about the Bridgerton family. A large family with eight children (in London in the 19th century they were known as beautiful and kind, but perhaps too progressive) will enter the "marriage market", and not everyone will be completely satisfied with this. All the adventures of the Bridgerton family will be described in detail by the capable, witty and anonymous Lady Whistledown, voiced by Julie Andrews.
Run (HBO, 2020)
For all the fans who are still sad to think that the Fleabag series is over, let us give you some comfort. Fleabag star Phoebe Waller-Bridge will also produce the romantic comedy-thriller Run, about a young woman who escapes her old life and embarks on an adventure with her old love.
