They have the power to change your brain: 4 words you should NEVER use again

Some words SHOULD be removed from your vocabulary not because they are bad in themselves, but because you use them in such a way that they have a devastating effect on your mental health and personal progress.

The ability to communicate through words is what what makes us human. Their power is so extraordinary that they can throw us to the ground or lift us up into the sky in an instant. In an instant they bring us to target or they slow down our progress. And since modern communication has moved online, we often forget that humans are still living beings who have emotions, desires, fears... and words can hurt us.

Sticks and stones can break our bones, but only words can they change the brain (Belinda Anderson). And if anyone has the power to change our brains, it's us WE OURSELVES. Some words have devastating consequences for our progress and mental health. If we manage to eliminate them from the vocabulary, we are on the way to a better tomorrow.

4 words to stop using:

“I should.”

How many times a day do you tell yourself that you should do a certain thing..., and because you don't do it, you have a bad conscience and feel like you've betrayed yourself. Instead of persistently making false promises to yourself, rather say "I INTEND" (go for a run). This word has a completely different connotation - even if you then fail to do the thing you want, you will feel that you didn't do it because your plan failed, that is, you planned, but it just didn't work out.

“I should.”
“I should.”

"Never."

Never say never is an old adage that you are reminded of countless times, probably most often when you do what you said you never would. And this word is one of the main limitations in your personal development. If you tell yourself that you will NEVER achieve a certain thing, with this approach you will limit yourself and doom yourself from the very beginning.

"I'm a lost cause."

If you tell yourself that you are a lost cause, you will see that only negative things will really start happening to you in life. The power of positive thinking is great, so you should rather say "I CAN DO IT" or "I WANT IT". Keep in mind that you don't strive for perfection, because then you will definitely be disappointed. Set yourself small goals, but when you achieve them, you will have enough confidence to see that you can do much more.

"I'm lucky."
"I'm lucky."

"I'm lucky."

There are people who were born under a "lucky star" and those who came last in line when luck was handed out. However, you should not constantly blame your failures on lack of luck. If you want to be happy and satisfied in life, you have to put in some effort. Nothing will fall to you from the sky, but even if it does, it is not forever. Do not rely on luck or misfortune and become the tailors of your own destiny. When you start to realize that you are in control of your life, and not waiting for luck, you will be less disappointed and you will know that you hold the reins in your own hands.
