Participants in the research had to choose between two food or drinks in the pictures, which they think is more addictive and would be harder to resist. It is not surprising that they mostly chose the food that contains more fat and has a higher glycemic index (foods that turn into blood sugar faster).

But since the researchers weren't sure if they had really found the food we crave the most and find it hard to resist, they the survey was repeated with online questionnaires, this time with a larger and more representative sample.
