Since the reveal, Microsoft's star has been the upcoming console Xbox Series X. It is, in their words, "the most powerful console ever" and an extremely ambitious project. And while its smaller sibling has been speculated for a while, details on said mystery console have been scarce - until now! It's the Xbox Series S!
By revealing your haystack Xbox Series S Microsoft has finally ended the speculation and confirmed the details of its second upcoming Xbox once and for all. The new S series is 60 percent smaller than the flagship – the X series – and more affordable. But just because it's a more affordable alternative to its bigger brother doesn't mean the S Series isn't powerful in its own right. The console offers 512 GB storage space and play at resolution 1440p at 120fps. This means that it will be able to run all the games that will be adapted for the next generation. It will also be available playback of content in 4K and support for advanced shading (ray tracing). So Xbox Series S and Series X will also have it slightly modified controller – slightly different buttons and also a brand new button for direct content sharing.
Xbox Series S will be available from November 10 for around 300 euros.
