Three scientifically proven tricks that guarantee a hot long relationship!

Passion and sexual energy between partners dry up after a while, that's a fact. And that's why it's even more important that couples know how to keep the spark over the years. These are scientifically proven tricks that will make your relationship not only long, but also HOT!

The study, for which researchers have been collecting data since 2006, reveals what really matters to keep a relationship (positively) hot. The research focused on more than 38 thousand heterosexual men and women, who have been in a relationship for at least three years. More than 80 percent of participants reported that they were satisfied with their sex lives in the first six months of their relationship, and 55 percent of women and 43 percent of men said they were still satisfied with their sex lives today, after more than three years of being in a relationship.

So what is the secret of those who are still satisfied? A love relationship is obviously a complex thing, but here are the key qualities to keep the spark alive that the authors of the study managed to elicit from the participants.

1. Make sure you're both happy

Not surprisingly, participants who are still satisfied with their sex lives today, experienced an orgasm in the last month as well (98 percent of men and 78 percent of women). It is essential that their partners also experienced orgasm.

2. Take your time

Both men and women who were satisfied with their lives in the bedroom reported that their intercourse lasted slightly longer— at least half an hour. This was only true for half of satisfied participants (compared to about a quarter of dissatisfied people), so it's not exactly the rule, but it's a very common choice.

3. A little "sugariness" doesn't hurt

Never underestimate the power of your emotions, even when things get physical. The majority of men and women who participated in the survey reported that they had the same (or greater) level of emotional closeness now and in the first six months of their relationship. Satisfied participants, among others they say many times "I love you" and se they laugh at the awkwardness that happens during intercourse.
