Near Kamnik, on Duplica, we will find a pleasant pizzeria and restaurant La Cantina. Nearby residents know the history of the bar and know that it has already changed many owners, who for one reason or another stopped working there. However, a new hero appeared who will face this challenge. Valentin Slapar, who most people know by his nickname Tinče, laughs at us from behind the bread oven. Under his leadership, La Cantina gained a reputation as one of the better pizzerias and Mexican restaurants in the area. However, don't be fooled by his youth. Tinče was already involved in cooking at an early age, as he comes from a real family of cooks. In elementary school, he helped his father in the inn at the Mengeška cottage and never thought of anything other than becoming a chef. Hospitality school was followed by work in many restaurants in Slovenia, including in the hotel restaurant of Hotel Radin in Radenci. After several years of working in pizzerias in Kamnik, he started working at La Cantina, and soon decided to take over the entire business. The work requires a lot of time and sacrifice, but Tinče still has a lot of plans for the restaurant and pizzeria.
