Tinge: plastic modular tables that you can assemble as you wish

We love recycled. Just because of the good feeling, because we contribute to a cleaner environment. After all, such things also look great, especially furniture. What about plastic, do we like it? If the answer to some is no, that may change now. The Dutch designer Ulrike Jurklies found a way to make a tea table out of recycled plastic.

Tinge, as she named the collection, they actually are plastic components, which without the use of tools put together in a tea table. Plastic parts are leftovers from the plastic painting process. Every piece Jurkilesova then he shapes it into a component with a notch into which the next part goes, and so on, until the table is standing. But it can be quite fun to assemble, as there is not just one version, but several, so you can let your imagination run wild.

The first examples of coffee tables are only in blue or colorless shades, but eventually colors will be available from A to Z. We will know and see more at The Netherlands design week, which will take place this year October in Eindhoven.
