You no longer need to worry about when and how you will catch the package delivery person, as Pošta Slovenije offers a simple solution with self-service machines - PS Packet machines, where you can pick up and drop off your packages 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with easy access. Using the PS Paketomat service is quick and easy. You will receive an SMS on your phone with a unique code (PIN) and a QR code for picking up the package.

You can choose the option of picking up at a parcel machine at the online retailer already at the time of purchase, where you select a parcel machine near you as the place of delivery - parcel machine location. If the online retailer does not offer the possibility of delivery to PS Paketomat, you can ensure it yourself in the following way:

Easy package returns

It has probably happened to you that the order you received did not meet your expectations. In such cases, Pošta Slovenije allows you to easily return the products to the sender. Simply stick the completed form on the package package container for the return you received from the online retailer, or fill it out online (print and stick it on the package) or fill it out at a gas station. You can return the package to any of 487 post offices and more than 210 Petrol service stations throughout Slovenia.

Online shopping in third countries

From July 1, 2021, new rules apply to goods coming to Slovenia from third countries. The import of goods of small value up to EUR 22 is no longer exempt from paying VAT, but 22% VAT is charged for all shipments up to a value of EUR 150, but the shipments are still exempt from paying customs duties. VAT and customs brokerage services must therefore be paid for these shipments, whereby the customs procedure is paid to Pošta Slovenije, and the amount of the calculated tax to FURS.
