On International Bare Gardening Day, pull up the weeds, plant the flowers and trim the hedge... "au naturel". The probability that you will get dirtier than usual is higher, but the purpose is completely clear - the International Day of Naked Gardening encourages acceptance of your body and nudity in a non-sexual way.
To celebrate today a day of bare gardening, we can thank the activists To Mark Storey and permaculturist to Jacob Gabriel, who advocate social nudity of the asexual type. The first International Day of Bare Gardening took place in September 2005, in 2007 it was moved to the first Saturday in May. The event has no political connotation, but rather encourages a positive acceptance of self-image.
Be careful! Gardening naked may disturb your neighbors, so try to find a corner where you can be alone. Otherwise, the law does not explicitly prohibit nudity in Slovenia, but it is considered a misdemeanor displaying genitals in a public place, which would disgust others.
