World Beer Day started celebrating in 2007 in the Californian city Santa Cruz. From there, the celebration spread rapidly over several years spread all over the world and every year more and more countries participate in the celebration of this day. World Beer Day is celebrated today on 6 continents, in more than 50 countries of the world and in more than 207 world cities.
