October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and October 13th is No Bra Day. This is a day when women's bras can simply be forgotten. Although the origins of No Bra Day are unknown (it has been celebrated since at least 2011), this day is a special reminder of the importance of breast cancer awareness and its symptoms, as well as the critical importance of self-examination. If you can't part with a bra today, you can also mark the day with the color purple.
