    • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves

Ingridients:

  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of water
  • 4 sprigs of fresh rosemary
  • 1 bottle of champagne

Preparation:
Mix the blackberries, sugar and water in a small bowl. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to a gentle simmer and cook for 15 to 17 minutes. The blackberries will soften and release their color into the now pink-purple syrup. Make sure you cook it enough as this is essential for the ombre effect. Separate the liquid from the blackberries and leave to cool. Once chilled, add about 4 tablespoons of syrup to each champagne glass. Top with champagne. Garnish with fresh and cooked blackberries and sprigs of rosemary.
