The beach and Uxua Casa Hotel in Trancoso, Brazil.

Let's forget for a while about the well-intentioned New Year's resolutions we made and think about the top sensational destinations in 2015 that we can visit. To that big and exotic dream, somewhere far away. Check out our list of the world's top destinations for 2015.

1. Bahia Coast, Brazil

For many, Brazil is the “sexiest” place in the world. Well, the Bahia Coast in the northeast of the country is known as the “sexiest” place in Brazil. And that’s saying a lot. Here we’ll find the best beaches, hotels, beach houses, bars, palm trees, marine life and the most miniature bikinis. It’s a place without sugary tourist traps and bustling crowds – just pure luxury in all its glory. And where can we stay? Uxua Casa Hotel in Trancos, designed by Diesel's creative director. No further explanation is needed.

2. Turks and Caicos Islands, Caribbean

White sand beaches and crystal clear water – this is a postcard destination. The Turks and Caicos Islands in the Caribbean, bordering the Bahamas, boast the best beach in the world. But unlike most of the world's other white sand beaches and coral reefs, this destination is not yet besieged. Here, you are guaranteed to enjoy the full benefits of the tropics. An old wooden boat with a big white sail, a bottle of cold drink and a lunch that you catch yourself. We can stay in a prestigious location The Amanyara Resort in one of the thirty-six pavilions or in one of the two villas, which are removed from civilization.

3. Panama City, Panama

Panama is the southernmost country in Central America, connecting North and South America, bordering Costa Rica, Colombia, the Caribbean and the South Pacific. The country itself is a recipe for Spanish history, exotic birds and tropical plants and animals found nowhere else in the world. A mountainous country with impenetrable jungle, it is an explosion of life, color, a fascinating past and a truly exciting future. Luxurious boutique hotel The American Trade Hotel, which boasts a great mix of old and new, is certainly worth a visit and accommodation.

4. Bodrum, Turkey

This top destination is not so much about Bodrum as it is about Bodrum Harbor, where you can sail along the Turkish coast on a wooden Turkish motor yacht, Gulet. Book a captain, chef and butler. Head to the harbor in the evening, enjoy spectacular Turkish cuisine in small seaside restaurants or stay on board and watch the Anatolian stars with friends. Peter Sommer is one of the best Gulet Cruise companies in Turkey.

5. Marrakech, Morocco

Full of rich architectural designs, manicured lawns, luxurious spas, world-class shops, narrow alleyways that are a feast for the eyes, and cuisine that is not only different but also worthy of sin, Marrakech brings out our love for detail. For Moroccan rugs, we can visit Kulchi, for Florence Teillet textiles, Fenyadi for the ceramics and Moustapha Blaoui for the entire home. And the stay? An extremely good hotel The Hotel El-Fenn, created by Richard Branson's sister.

6. Puglia, Italy

If you are a lover of caves and grottos, then you must visit Puglia at least once in your life. The best time is when you are still young enough to descend into the many caves and spend days in the blue waters while gazing at the ornate rocks. The city is a pride in itself, with great attention to detail, fresh local produce, olive groves and long sandy beaches. The Calabria region is irresistible and hard to resist. We can stay in Baraquiel Relais, where we have a swimming pool amidst fragrant olive groves. Let's make sure we have lunch in Palazzese Cave, a restaurant inside the cave.

7. Mykonos Island, Greece

There are many things that the Greeks are good at: food, plates, dancing and islands. The island of Mykonos is one of the best they have. A destination for fashionistas and cruise lovers, as well as those of us who like to stay in exclusive hotels – Mykonos has some of the best in the world, many of which are far from the crowd. One such hotel is San Giorgio.

8. Jukkasjarvi, Sweden

We imagine ourselves staring up at the night sky and watching the natural fireworks of the Northern Lights – a celestial “light show” that reflects off the whiteness of the snow we stand on. Jukkasjärvi is a small town on the Arctic Circle in Sweden and is the place to experience the Aurora Oval. Ice Hotel , which is enveloped in snow and ice, will turn this trip into an unforgettable experience. Sleeping on deerskin and carved slabs of ice is a luxury found nowhere else in the world.

9. Sri Lanka

Forbes named Sri Lanka one of the “coolest” destinations to travel to in 2015. Sri Lanka’s diverse landscape is largely overlooked, and the prices reflect that. World-class hotels and spas are available at a fraction of the price. Leopards, elephants, sloth bears, and exotic birds inhabit the surprisingly diverse island, while Sri Lanka also boasts beautiful beaches, lush forests, waterfalls, and verdant mountains. Heritance Kandamala Hotel offers a unique experience amidst lush landscapes with an infinity pool that looks straight at the Sigiriya rock fortress, the eighth wonder of the world.

10. Kampala, Rwanda

It is only right that we end the list with one of the most meaningful destinations – one that gives to our soul, not takes away. A place that leaves us with a sense of gratitude for our Earth and all its inhabitants, especially the animals. When we gaze into the eyes of a gorilla in the heart of the misty, volcanic Rwandan jungle, we know that this experience is golden and that these magnificent animals must be respected and protected. We can live in Volcanoes Safaris, an ecological home located next to three of Africa's best gorilla parks.
