On October 17, 2016, Cankarjev dom will host the first Top Vino by eVino wine festival, an international wine festival where all the world's best wines will be on display and tasted, including 11 Bordeaux chateaux, which among wines mean what they mean in the culinary world restaurants decorated with Michelin stars. In addition to them, Top Vino 2016 will also host the best wines from the wine cellars of Italian Tuscany, Spain, Portugal, New Zealand, Austria and the American California, but to keep the blacksmith's mare barefoot, the best 30 Slovenian winemakers will also be at the festival.
Top Wine 2016, international wine festival, even the first of its kind, will in Cankarjev dom on October 17, 2016 hosted the best that winemakers have to offer the world. Behind the project Top Vino by eVino stands the best Slovenian sommelier and owner of eVina Gašper Čarman, which will be brought to Slovenia the most prestigious and unavailable wines here, including the best wines from Tuscany, Spain, Portugal, Austria, California and New Zealand, eleven Bordeaux chateaux, and space will also be found for the best wines of 30 Slovenian winemakers.

And how is Čarman, the future Master of Wine (currently there are only 341 individuals with this title in the world, among them not a single Slovene), gained all this wine cream on his side? "I told them that I wanted to make a festival where visitors would taste wines that are otherwise inaccessible to them in this area. I presented the intended participating winemakers, the event space and the experienced team with which I intend to carry out this project. The positive decision was mainly helped by many years of acquaintance, trust and belief that the Top Vino festival will really present the wine peak itself.” Regarding the choice of an unusual location for such an event, he said: "(Cankarjev dom, op. p.) is the most important Slovenian temple of culture and provides the level that our event needs, both in terms of the importance that this space has, and in terms of the logistical conditions that are necessary for the proper execution of this type of festival."
