Toshiba presented the Satellite P500; the newest member of the Satellite family of laptops. With a large 18.4-inch screen, a built-in TV card, a resolution conversion program and Resolution+ technology, the laptop is a real flagship in the field of entertainment and multimedia. The Satellite P500 is powered by the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors, offers up to 8GB of DDR2 memory and supports up to two hard drives with a capacity of up to 1TB. For enhanced graphics, the Satellite P500 notebook is equipped with the latest generation NVIDIA graphics chipsets. The key concept of this model is undoubtedly high definition (HD). Content is displayed on an 18.4-inch TruBrite® LCD screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1680 x 945 (High Definition) or 1920 x 1080 (Full High Definition). The Satellite P500 laptop is also equipped with a Blu-Ray ReWritable drive. High quality Harman Kardon stereo speakers provide the appropriate soundscape.
