Sony introduced the Touchless Shutter app for automatic camera activation. We trigger this by waving our hand in front of the viewfinder, i.e. the small window where we see what will be captured in the photo. As we know that taking photos in low light conditions can be a real nightmare, often resulting in blurry photos (even when using a tripod or a steady hand), this is a more than welcome addition.
Taking photos in poor light is the eternal lottery for amateur photographers. Despite using a tripod or with a very steady hand, we often end up with blurry photos. To solve this problem, many of them try their luck with the built-in self-timer, a remote shutter release or a smartphone as a remote shutter release. Sony, however, sought a new solution within the existing technology electronic viewfinder. He developed an application Touchless Shutter, which enables touch-free triggering. All we have to do is wave our hand near the viewfinder. If this is not the law! For "Bulb" function we have to wave again when we want to finish capturing the photo.

No hands, no remotes, no "timers", just wave your hand and even the photo in low light conditions will be sharp as a knife. And yes, even cameras now have apps.
