The long-awaited movie trailer for the sci-fi movie Dune: Sand Planet (Dune, 2020) has been released.
The movie Dune: The Sand Planet (Dune, 2020) is the second film adaptation of Frank Herbert's sci-fi classic - the first from 1984 was directed by David Lynch. The story follows Paul Atreides of House Atreides, a brilliant and talented young man born for great things who must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to secure the future of his family and nation. He finds himself in the middle of a fight for the exclusive supply of the most precious resource in existence, the galaxy's most precious element, found only on Arrakis, and which can unlock humanity's greatest potential, where only those who can overcome their fear will survive.
He directed the film Denis Villeneuve, who is no stranger to the sci-fi film genre, having directed both Blade Runner 2 (Blade Runner 2049, 2017) and Arrival (2016). They are in a star-studded cast Timothée Chalamet, Oscar Isaac, Stellan Skarsgård, Zendaya, Jason Momoa, Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem, Rebecca Ferguson and Dave Bautista.
The film premiere is scheduled for December 17, 2020.
