Holidays with a child

Discovering European cities in the company of the youngest is even more fun, because they offer us a perspective that we have not been used to before. Of course, many things need to be adjusted for the youngest traveler, everything from nutrition, activities and sleep, but we guarantee that you will not regret the unforgettable memories you will create along the way.

Many European cities are still kind to toddlers and children, from the diverse range of activities to the wonderful locals who greet your child at every turn. Among the many cities, we have chosen five such, where the youngest are particularly well taken care of. These are European cities ideal for traveling with a small child.

Stockholm

Sweden, especially the capital Stockholm, is considered one of the most child-friendly destinations. There's a good reason why trips up north are so popular with families. Children can enjoy a variety of activities, from amusement parks to natural attractions. If you decide to visit Stockholm, take your child to boat ride, to see the city from another perspective. Also go to Stockholmska Zoo or visit Your museum, where a life-size ship from the 17th century is on display.

Amsterdam

The Dutch capital is far from popular only among adults, the youngest are also impressed by it. The city is bicycle and pedestrian friendly, so you can easily explore it on foot with a stroller. Here, too, you can take a boat ride along the canals and admire the ships and dwellings on the water, or visit one of the interesting museums. Don't miss the NEMO Science Museum, where there is also a chemistry laboratory designed for young scientists. If you are traveling with older children, stop by the Anne Frank Museum or visit the famous Van Gogh Museum. A real feast for the eyes is also a trip to Keukenhof, where you can admire brightly colored tulips in the spring months.

London

The island capital, with heroes such as Harry Potter and Paddington Bear, remains at the top of the list of destinations for children. They will be delighted to visit the many museums and green parks, as well as spin on the famous London Eye, from where you can admire the entire city. Older children will be happy to visit the Madame Tussaud museum or the treasures in the Tower of London. In London, the many green parks are not to be missed, where you can spread out a blanket and enjoy the afternoon while the children watch the lively happenings.

Rome

Italy is one of the top child-friendly countries. From delicious cuisine that children simply love (pizza! spaghetti!) to friendly locals who greet little ones with a smile or wave at them. Even Rome, a city with an extremely rich history that flourished in antiquity, is one of the cities where children will be welcomed with open arms. We recommend a visit to Rome especially for school children, but even kindergarteners will find something that will interest them. One of the sights that may interest all generations is the Colosseum or sitting on the Spanish Steps while sweetening with the best Italian ice cream.

Vienna

A good reason to visit Vienna is the short, several-hour drive, which will not excessively irritate and tire the little ones. The city is a great destination for a trip with children of all ages. Put Schonbrunn Palace and its surrounding parks at the top of your list, where you can also feed squirrels with some patience. Even the palace itself will be interesting for children. If you are traveling with older children, consider visiting the local philharmonic, if you notice an interest in this type of music among the children. An unforgettable experience, guaranteed. When you get tired of art and architecture, jump to the ZOOM Children's Museum, where there is no shortage of activities for little explorers from 8 months of age.
