As every year, the yard of Kuda France Prešeren will also smell of delicious roasted corn this year. The Trnfest festival will take place from August 5 to 29.
In the organization KUD France Prešeren and the non-governmental youth camp "Pohorski Battalion" will take place between August 5 and 29. The 24th traditional international summer festival Thornfest, which will spice up the summer events in the Slovenian capital. The last three days will be supplemented by a family festival Emonia promenade.
The program offers a good three weeks of free events for young and old, for lovers of music, theater, exhibitions, film screenings and creative workshops for children. All Trnfest events will take place in the courtyard and premises of KUD France Prešeren Trnovo. During the last week in the courtyard between August 27 and 29, the events will be traditionally complemented by the Emon Promenade, a sister festival aimed at families.
Since KUD France Prešeren is located in the heart of the sleeping area, the daily events will end again at 10 p.m. and then move to the hall, usually with a DJ program or a theater performance.
