The proverbs - "What you sow is what you reap" and "Everything comes back, everything pays" - describe well what karma is and how it works. After all, everything you do or don't do in life has its consequences.

Karma (Sanskrit कर्म, Pali kamma) is a term that denotes the esoteric meaning of the causes and effects that follow every action. Karma covers, in fact, everything we do, have done and will do.

It is about actions in the past, present and future. The actions we take today determine our future, and the actions we took in the past determine our present. – Wikipedia

Here are some thoughts related to karma:

1. "If you don't like what you get from life, change what you give to life."

You can carry this quote through all areas of life. Do you want other people to respect you? Respect them.

Do you want to be loved? Start giving your love and it will come back to you.

Do you want success and happiness? Help others make their dreams come true, so you make yours come true.

2. "If you want to change something, always start with yourself."

Start with yourself first, look into your thoughts and feelings. You will find the answers there. Sometimes it is enough to just change your attitude towards something and everything changes.

3. “Every change comes with acceptance.”

You have to accept yourself first. The beginning of any change happens when you accept something as it is and then make a decision about how to proceed.

4. "What you believe will be in your life."

This law is mostly about your focus. It also applies to all areas of life. If you want more good in your life, learn to see the good and ignore the bad.

Do you want to be happy? Start by being grateful for everything you have, not considering everything you don't have.

5. "In the present we correct the past and prepare the future"

Every change starts from now. You have to focus on the present moment. If you think too much about the past, you will not be free, if you plan too much for the future, you will not appreciate the present.

6. Liability Act

Situations will repeat themselves until you learn a lesson from them. You can choose anything, your decision is one and only - final. And you are responsible for its consequences, not someone else.
