Imagine being able to take Siri, Google Now, or Cortana out of your smartphone, put it in a box, and plug it directly into an electrical outlet. Actually, there is no need. The Canadian company UCIC has developed Ubi, an assistant for homes and offices. This allows you to ask questions and commands that are carried out with the help of WiFi in your home.
Kill is small Android device, which allows you to use WiFi hands-free voice interaction in your home. It takes your questions and commands and turns them into actions. Ubi uses the latest method of voice recognition, speech, language understanding and speech synthesis. It gets even smarter over time: it understands you better (up to two and a half meters away), but it can also be used to send messages to your contacts, search for information, play music, control devices and act as an information broker. All you have to do is install it in the room where you spend most of your time.
