For this year's SEMA event, Ford has decided to present a handful of unique Ford Ranger models that are specially prepared for off-road routes and adventures.
SEMA is America's largest auto show specializing in conversions, attended not only by manufacturers, but also by car refinishers and aftermarket and aftermarket parts companies. Every year, Ford makes a special effort for this fair. This year they will be able to boast with more than fifty vehicles, which is the most at the fair. Among them will be presented five new versions of the Ford Ranger, intended for different types of adventurers.
It's in first place Ford Ranger Tjin Edition, which eschews typical semi-truck mods and swaps the lift kit and off-road goodies for wide-body fenders and air suspension. The latter lowers the Ranger by as much as 20 centimeters at the front and 22 centimeters at the rear. Under the hood are some light Roush performance upgrades.
Rambler Ranger RTR takes things in a different direction. It has a built-in tent and a support capsule where surfers store their surfing equipment. So that drivers will get anywhere with it - even on the sandy surfaces of long beaches, the latter is equipped with an off-road suspension kit Ford Performance-Fox, which is upgraded with 33-inch tires.
Yakima Ford Ranger was upgraded with “Ford Performance Parts” components with Fox suspension and BFGoodrich tires, similar to the RTR. RPG bumpers, side steps, winch and additional lighting are also available. In the caisson there is a rack for kayaks and a vertical HangOver rack for bikes.
Ford Ranger Advanced Accessory Concepts boasts AFN - Extreme Terrain bumpers, skid plates and an upgraded Ford Performance rear differential cover. Instead of a caisson, there is a real living space at the back. The Icon chassis kit, Vector wheels and Zeon Platinum 10-S winches ensure access to undiscovered places.
Hellwig Ford Ranger model is added solar energy Goal Zero, which allows users "eco" access to electricity even when they are in the most remote locations. Accessories such as tent Tepuis with hard shells and stove Trail Kitchens turn the Ranger into a complete mobile camper.
