WINE DELIGHTS We go down the steep wooden stairs to Enoteca, which is right next to the Slon Hotel. The space is very suitable for a wine cellar: vaulted ceilings, walls next to the massive bar table, painted with wine motifs, mysterious and heavy wooden doors, dark walls made of stone and rough bricks, which gives the room a reddish appearance, invite you to try the selected wines. Even if we turn down from the sunny street in the early hours, we immediately feel that we are in a real wine temple, and when we roll a sip of the noble ruby-oily drink in our mouths, we very quickly forget about life on the street above. At Enoteca, they don't even want to mess with your head or lead you to sinful thoughts, but they want to present guests with an immense wealth of tastings, including medicinal drinks in suitable quantities. This is also why they offer carefully prepared snacks to accompany the selection of wines that promise real pleasure. Let us only mention the indispensable prosciutto, which is accompanied by olives and a wide range of cheeses, including sheep's cheese, for example, without which orthodox wine lovers cannot even imagine trying a noble drop. In Enoteca, lovers of wines from private producers from individual Slovenian wine-growing regions will be satisfied, but they also offer top wines produced beyond the borders. They are happy to arrange a private party for guests.
