According to its creators, the Urb-E is said to be the most compact folding electric vehicle in the world. In any case, this folding electric blind gives a sense of compactness with its metal frame, while in combination with bright colors it is a real feast for the eyes.
In the last few years, we have seen an explosion of many electric vehicles that make it easier for us to drive around the city. This is how we presented it some time ago Sway three-wheeled scooter for fast and comfortable movement through the streets. But a novelty is coming, presented at the CES 2014 - the electric scooter Urb-E. This will make running errands around the city even easier, as we will be able to fold it up and take it with us everywhere.
There is a two-wheeled Urb-E GP and a three-wheeled Urb-E Commuter, both weighing a measly 13 kilograms and measuring just 40x40x91 centimeters when folded. This way, we will be able to take the Urb-E with us on the bus and then go on errands with it.
The powerful battery provides a range of 32 kilometers and takes three hours to charge. The maximum speed it reaches is 24 kilometers per hour, which is quite enough for driving on sidewalks and bike paths in the city. Another interesting feature is the universal phone holder, which the car also charges while driving.
In addition to the scooter, the company Ecological Mobility Solutions has also developed a special iOS and Android application, with which we will be able to control LED lights, music and navigation via phone. It also has a built-in USB port for charging other devices and a comfortable seat that absorbs vibrations. Additional options include a foldable luggage rack, wireless Bluetooth speakers, a drink holder and a special Urb-E case.
The lightweight Urb-E is certainly interesting and will attract a lot of eyes. The company Ecological Mobility Solutions has already raised enough funds on Indiegogo to launch the project.
