This year marks a decade since the URWERK EMC model shined at the prestigious GPHG awards in Geneva, picking up two prestigious awards. For this important anniversary, this independent watchmaker presented a new interpretation of the model – the EMC SR-71. The new version, produced in a limited series of ten pieces, represents the pinnacle of innovation and aesthetics in the world of luxury wristwatches.

EMC SR-71 is a real work of art, captured in titanium and steel, which impresses with its recognizable shape and impressive dimensions – the diameter of the case is as much as 47.5 mm. At first glance, the watch resembles the instrument panel of a high-tech aircraft - there are four separate hands on the dial that show the hours, minutes, seconds and power reserve. "The dial of this watch is like a personal cockpit," says Martin Frei, co-founder and art director WATCHWORK- a. "In addition to the exact time, EMC also provides insight into how it works and how we 'pilot' it. It is a unique and exciting experience.”

Technical perfection at the highest level

For anyone who appreciates technological perfection, looking at the watch case is a real treat. The EMC SR-71 is powered by the in-house caliber UR-EMC, which boasts an impressive 28,800 vibrations per hour. This mechanism allows the watch to run for up to 80 hours without interruption, which is another proof of the superior quality that this model brings.
