USSV Rhino GX: A rugged SUV with a gentle soul

USSV Rhino GX

At first sight of the USSV Rhinota GX, you'd think, especially judging by the exterior, that it only had a few canvas seats, lots of sharp metal edges, full army green paint, and a bunch of combat equipment. Which is not surprising, since the Rhino GX measures almost 6 meters in length, over 2 meters in height and almost 2.5 meters in width. It weighs 5 tons and is painted in tactical green, stealth black or sand brown.

But in reality, this is a macho car produced by a niche car maker US Specialty Vehicles, says the gentle giant inwardly. This is even more evident in the Executive version, which is full of luxurious upholstery, which was further upgraded with exotic wooden coverings and seasoned everything with a hint of chrome. The comfortable leather seats are electrically adjustable, have a footrest and the possibility of heating. There is no need to fear a lack of light in Rhinot, because large skylight it does its job more than perfectly. Passengers in the last two seats are available a TV with a diagonal of 40 inches respectively 101.6 centimeters. The audio-visual system contains, among other things satellite receiver VKH TRAC Vision A9. This sounds like something you would find in gear US military special forces. But this is not the case, because with the help of this receiver you will easily watch the continuation of your favorite series anywhere in the world.

The rear part of the cabin is separated from the front seats, so it is available audio connection, which is even cooler if you use some military code names when you speak. USSV has added another alternator for the Rinota, in addition to the one that the Ford engine already has. The basis for the production of Rhinot is the Ford F-450, which can have 6.7L V8 or 6.8L V10. Due to the extra weight, the brakes and suspension had to be replaced so that the Rhinot does not have to give up its off-road capabilities. USSV isn't reporting the exact price of the Rhino GX with Executive trim, but it's definitely going up over US$250,000.
