The Finns invented an ax that acts as a kind of lever and literally splits the log. Chopping firewood is not an easy task, as it requires a specific amount of knowledge and strength, and above all, it is not one of the most desirable tasks on the list of tasks. Vipukirves ax solves just that!
That's exactly why it is Finnish inventor developed Vipukirves or lever axe, with the help of which chopping, due to the unusually shaped blade, is called cat's cough. Ax of Vipukirves is designed so that contact force blade turns from the center and towards the edge of the log. The process itself is exactly the same as classic chopping, except that the force is much lower, because different center of gravity the blade travels differently and in the log makes approx eight centimeter hole, literally splitting the log into several parts.
