Your father was already a shoemaker. What inspired you so much about shoemaking that you took the same path?
I wanted to make shoes different from others, I wanted to stand out from the average and make shoes something more.

How old were you when you made your first pair?
I made my first pair at the end of my freshman year of high school when I was 15 years old. The shoes are a Derbi model, and I made them from black leather that fades into red. At that time, I made them at a craftsman's for the completion of practical work in the first year. I still wear them every now and then, because I have fond memories of these shoes.

You make the shoes yourself from start to finish. What part of creation do you enjoy the most?

When creating excesses on the shoe, such as Plexiglas heels, in which mercury flows, or unusual shoe materials. Even when making samples and details, that's when the most adrenaline flows through my veins, especially if the client allows me a completely free path in this process. To top it all off, I enjoy it the most when I receive a text message from a satisfied customer who sends me after a night of dancing in my shoes. That is the highest praise.

Have you ever made a pair of shoes with the intention of impressing a girl with them?
I never made shoes for this very purpose, but I found out later that the girls were impressed with my shoes. However, I have never made them just for a date.

Does the saying that the blacksmith's mare is always barefoot also apply to you?

No, not at all. Whenever I have an idea, I try it on my shoe first to see how it will perform. I think this is important mainly because in this way I know exactly whether the shoe is already perfect or if something still needs to be improved on it.

What kind of orders do you prefer?
Ones where the clients completely surrender to me and trust me. In these cases, in the end, the customers are always satisfied, because I enjoy creating such shoes and look for excesses on them. And this is also evident when the customer puts on the shoe. If I have free rein in the making, I have fun with the shoe, imagine it, design it and let my imagination run wild. The result can be quite astonishing, often even to me.

How many pairs of your shoes do you wear? Which one is your favorite?
All the shoes I wear are mine, except for the gojzars of course (laughs). I think there are about 22 of them at the moment. My current favorite pair of shoes is made of fur, crocodile leather, Swarovski crystals and a mercury-flowing heel. This is the one I wear the most at the moment, but it goes without saying that I won't be charmed by another model tomorrow.

Some say that a person's character can be recognized by their footwear. Do you agree with this statement?
Definitely. By the shoes, you can see whether a person is precise, whether he is a perfectionist, or whether he simply does not care about certain things in life. Those people who have clean shoes tend to be much more specific and know exactly what they want in life. These are people with lists, with schedules. Those others are phlegmatic, fast and live from minute to minute, so they don't have time to deal with shoes either.

Shoes that smell come on the market. Do you also have an "out-of-the-box" idea?
The idea of a heat pump shoe is floating around in my head right now. Thus, you would produce energy while walking. At this moment, this is my biggest plan, but for now it is just being born.

And finally. Which fairy tale do you prefer? Cinderella or Puss in Boots?
Cinderella. Because I can already imagine what fairy shoes I could make for her. Ones that would only really fit her foot (laughs).
