The Vitranc Cup 2016 will take place on March 5 and 6, 2016, when giant slalom and slalom will be held in Kranjska Gora. In its 55th edition, the Vitranc Cup is returning to its roots, as a stylized snowman on skis is once again inviting us to Kranjska Gora, which is remembered by the spectators of the first match for the Vitranc Cup in 1961. Last year's victory will be defended on the podkoren slope by the Frenchman Alexis Pinturault and the Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen. Tickets are already available.
Vitranc Cup 2016 is approaching irresistibly. In Kranjska Gora will take place in its 55th edition between March 5 and 6, 2016, and the caravan of alpine skiers will gather in the area already on Thursday, March 3. This year, he invites us to Saturday's giant slalom and Sunday's slalom race snowman on skis, which is the work of a student of the Ljubljana High School for Design and Photography Long live Oblak, which was chosen among 32 proposals. If in the past we were watched by Slovenian and foreign skiers from the posters, this time we are invited by the mentioned snowman, who reworked version of the 1961 poster.

Besides men's giant slalom and slalom races in Kranjska Gora there will also be a rich accompaniment program, which will further enliven the events at the Podkoren ski resort, where all the best alpine skiers in the world will gather, including Marcel Hirscher and Ted Ligety. The latter feels at home on this ski resort, as he has already celebrated here six times! Slovenes are also among the winners.
