Just over two months ago, the redesigned Volkswagen Polo was presented, but without its most interesting GTI version. In a somewhat unusual way, through an announcement on the LinkedIn platform, we got to see the presentation of the coiled Polo.
The redesign of the new Volkswagen Polo also required a redesign of its sports version. Volkswagen Polo GTI got new headlights and wider taillights. Noticeable in the GTI model are the inserts and accessories in the red color, double tailpipe finish and front grille with honeycomb and LED lighting, in the style of the Golf GTI. The larger two-tone rims, under which the red brake calipers are hidden, are noticeable. Black mirrors and a black roof make it stand out contrast with a white car exterior.
It will power the Pola GTI 2.0 liter turbine gasoline engine with 204 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. It will need to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h 6.5 seconds. Only a two-clutch automatic will be available for shifting 7-speed gearbox.
