The new Volvo V60 offers style and substance, and this mid-size premium wagon will quickly become a thorn in the side of its German rivals. With the new V60, Volvo wants to at least limit the use of the word "SUV" and reintroduce the more frequent use of the word "station wagon" into the everyday vocabulary.
From the first look at the car, it was quickly clear to us that it was the new Volvo V60 absolutely wonderful. They said goodbye to the sharp edges of their predecessors and instead used softer, flowing lines, which emphasize the elegant wagon shape. There are integrated headlights again LED "Thor's hammers", among which stands out chrome front grille. The V60 thus definitely represents an imaginative and elegant alternative to the increasingly popular SUVs.
Inside, you will find a cabin that you will never confuse with the interior of any other premium brand. To the big one 9-inch touch screen thanks to the fact that the interior can be so minimalist, because instead of using a bunch of buttons, we operate it via the screen navigation, infotainment system and air conditioning. The Swedish design is also noticeable on the back bench, where passengers have plenty of space for their heads and legs.
Volvo V60 puts practicality in the foreground. The luggage compartment has a flat bottom and for what 529 liters of space, which is 99 liters more than the outgoing model. In fact, this is more than the main three German top competitors. If fold down the back seats, the luggage space increases to 1,364 liters.
