Hyundai Santa Fe: SUV with a bold design

New Hyundai Santa Fe

Sketches and partial photos of the new Hyundai Santa Fe have been slowly filling the world wide web, but now we have just gotten our hands on the photos that completely reveal the fourth generation Santa Fe. Hyundai's latest SUV doesn't look too much like its predecessor, with a bolder design and more closely identified with the Kona and the recently introduced Nex, which is powered by hydrogen fuel cells.

On the front Hyundai Santa Fe dominated by a large cascading mask, which we first saw on the current Hyundai i30. They surround her from both sides split headlights, in a similar way as we have already noticed with Kona. Which is just as well, because the Santa Fe is in a segment in which it has tremendous competition and somehow it must stand out. Since the exterior has been significantly changed, the same can be said for interior. This one has been completely redesigned and has little in common with the previous model. Similar to the Kona, the Santa Fe has entertainment-information screen placed to the top of the dashboard, which reduces the leakage of the driver's view from the road.

As with the previous model, the new Santa Fe will also enter the market in two sizes. Shorter s five seats is the first, and will be followed by an even longer version, s seven seats. The new Santa Fe is slightly larger than its predecessor and has a 6.61 centimeter longer wheelbase. It is 7.0 centimeters longer in length, which means that there is more space for passengers.

Under the hood, it will have the Santa Fe available 2.2 liter 4 cylinder diesel engine with 200 horsepower. There will be more available two gasoline engines, both 4-cylinder, with 2.4 and 2 liter volumes. The first one will have 185 horsepower, and the other because of the turbine 232 horsepower. In any case, the transfer will be made via 8-speed automatic transmission, namely on all four wheels. Hyundai in the field assistance systems it doesn't rest, and so will the new Santa Fe systems of the latest generation, among which quite a few will be intended for passengers, especially the youngest among them.
