Volvo and Polestar are old friends who know how to make damn good cars together. Although Polestar is now an independent brand, there is still mutual cooperation. The latest example of a fruitful and successful collaboration is the Volvo V60 Polestar Engineered, which is a damn fast station wagon.
The Volvo cars that Polestar gets their hands on are always something special. And it's no different with Volvo V60 Polestar Engineered. The essence of the Volvos that Polestar focused on is added power. Volvo V60 Polestar powered 2.0 liter engine, which has turbocharger and compressor. Only this one drives front wheel pair, for the last one but he is in charge electric motor. The total system power of both engines is attractive 405 horsepower and what 670 newton meters of torque. The lithium-ion capacity is 11.6 kWh and is installed longitudinally in the middle, in the bottom of the car. Since the added power also requires upgrading other components of the car, they didn't skimp on anything. The company provided a better suspension Ohlins, and the brake system was contributed by Brembo.
All this added power and refinement also required a bit of a styling tweak. The pure Scandinavian design was supplemented with attractive ones alloy wheels, exposed fenders and black front the mask. The Volvo V60 Polestar Engineered will be available this summer, but since they tend to go faster than hot buns, it will take quickly in line, to secure yours.
