The Swedes just unveiled the new Volvo XC90 a month before its premiere in Paris, which surprises with its modern design and advanced interior features. The entire passenger cabin was thus completely redesigned, be it the dashboard, the steering wheel, the seats or the gauges. The emphasis was on quality and a sense of prestige, which they achieved with selected and high-quality materials, soft and scratch-resistant leather, and inserts made of real wood in different colors, as well as other natural elements that exude homeliness and elegance.

The first thing we notice about the appearance of the dashboard are much softer lines, a new steering wheel (which reminds a little of the one in the Fiat Panda) and a much cleaner center console, which in the current generation is bursting with tilted switches. The clean and transparent center console was one of the main guidelines for the interior designers, where the central part is now almost without switches, and the central role in this part is occupied by a large touch screen tablet size. This was placed between the vents and sunk a bit to limit the effect of the sun on the ability to read data from it.
Comfort seats made of supple leather will take care of the most demanding people, while electricity will take care of moving all moving parts, including the headrests. They will overcome the inflatable sides, and the passengers on them will also be pampered by the features: heating, cooling and massage. For audiophiles, the system under which it is signed will take care Bowers & Wilkins, and in the field of advanced technology we can expect all the assistance systems known today, in which Volvo always plows the fallow land.
The Volvo XC90 will premiere in early October at the Paris Auto Show. for sale but it was supposed to be March next year. Prices in Germany will start at 49,400 euros, as much as the z version will cost D4 diesel engine with 190 hp (140 kW), front-wheel drive and kinetic equipment.
