VW GTI Roadster Concept – premiere just a stone's throw from Slovenia

Although many car brands have prepared new and breathtaking racing cars for the new GT6 game, only a few have also produced actual examples of studies that we can see and touch. Well, VW did exactly that, in addition to Mercedes-Benz, and the fact that its premiere will take place this weekend just an hour and a half from the capital is especially interesting for Slovenians.

The GTI roadster concept will be one of stars of the traditional meeting of VW fans, which will take place this weekend on Lake Vrb in Austria and there really will be something to see. They are signed under the external image three young VW designers, including our magazine Domen Ručigaj, which has been making its way to the design world for many years and follows in the footsteps of a renowned design name Robert Lešnik. Three designers won the competition to design a model to celebrate the 15th anniversary of this cult game.

Three young designers were inspired to create the image by last year's vision GTI concept study, where they tightened certain features and made an even more toxic super sportsman. GTI roadster concept it measures 4.158 meters in length, the width of the meter is 1.9-, and the length is only 1.09 meters. He takes care of the drive 3.0 liter V6 biturbo TSI engine, which develops 370 kW or 503 HP and 560 Nm of torque. The seven-speed automatic transmission DSG, which distributes the power to all four wheels via a haldex clutch, takes care of transferring it to the road. Despite the 4motion drive, the weight is a moderate 1,420 kilograms, which guarantees it extraordinary capabilities. It covers 100 on the meter in 3.6 seconds, and the maximum speed is 306 km/h

They take care of stopping as efficiently as possible ceramic brakes, located in 20-inch rims, while the tires cover 235 (front) and 275 millimeters of asphalt (rear). VW also says in the press release that they are not planning series production, but at least GT& players will be able to enjoy a virtual drive with it from mid-June.
