With the second big event in 2011, on June 12, the WFC returns to the Tivoli Hall with an excellent program that will focus on the Slovenian representatives!

WFC 14 will host the most talented and recognized MMA fighters from Slovenia in their respective categories. We will be represented by Bor "Playbor" Bratovž (MMA Ljubljana), who entered the professional MMA scene in 2009 and became one of the most popular fighters in the WFC with only three fights (3-0) and quickly won the favor of the audience. In his performances so far, he completely dominated his opponents and ended fights early with technical knockouts. Frenchman Dimitri Anghelou will have a difficult task ahead of him - highly motivated Bratovž on a winning streak in front of the home crowd.
After his first professional appearance at WFC 12 in December 2010, Denis "Chorchyp" Porčić returns with his head held high and confident in the success of his hard work. After losing to Croatia's Darian Paladin, Chorchyp earned his first professional win a few months later in Vienna. Already in the first round, Lebanese opponent Mike Azab fell under a devastating blow from Chorchyp. The two fighters will meet again in the ring in Ljubljana, which will surely be a first-class K-1 heavyweight fight.
The biggest Slovenian MMA "product" Bojan "Želva" Kosednar (MMA Ljubljana) is also returning to the promotion, who is ready for a top performance again after several injuries. However, the road to victory will be anything but easy, as the more experienced Frenchman Vincent Del Guerra (Bushido Academie Marseille) will be up against him. The two welterweight fighters have a recipe for a spectacle where Kosednar will certainly have the home field advantage.
We are always inspired by young talents and their success at WFC events, Rok Štrucl being a great example. The young K-1 heavyweight from Črnomlje became widely recognized with his excellent debut last December, when he knocked out the Serbian muay-thai veteran Lazar Tomić. This time he has an even tougher homework ahead of him. Tomica Paladin (King kickboxing club; Igor Jurković club) owns more than just a few awards from international tournaments. In addition to the bronze medal from the European Championship of Thai kickboxing in Budva, he also has experience as a sparring partner of Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipović. We are expecting a match where it will be difficult to predict the winner, as both have knockout power in their hands and feet. Perhaps the deciding factor will be the strength or stamina of the beard.
One of the most recognizable faces of the WFC promotion and number 1 in the middle category (K-1) in Slovenia is returning to the Tivoli hall with the aim of winning the audience over to his side again. After a devastating loss to Russian kickboxing number one Aleksandr Stetchurenko, Miran "Rocky" Fabjan will now take on the determined Shkoder Veseli of Kosovo. Veseli will have his hands full with the most motivated Fabjan so far, who will be looking for a knockout opportunity.
After the match of the evening in Belgrade and a display of incredible tenacity, one of the most promising Croatian fighters Ivica "Terror" Trušček is coming to Ljubljana, who is ready to make life miserable for the less experienced but still dangerous Amir Visalimov from Chechnya.
With a top performance and victory over Dragan Tešanović in Belgrade, Svetoslav Savov (CBS Respect) is quickly becoming a name on the MMA scene and making it known that he is a man to be reckoned with. Nevertheless, Makus "Mafia" Di Gallo is a tough nut to crack. If we combine the superior wrestling of both and the excellent jiu-jitsu of Savova, we can expect an extremely interesting fight to take place on the ground as well.
It is with great pleasure that we announce the return of the first (MMA) WFC welterweight champion and elite European fighter Lubomir "Virus" Guedjev (CBS Respect), who will face the great Arbi "Monster" Agu (Team Slamm) in the fight of the evening. Will Guedjev stop Agujev's long winning streak and take a step closer to the WFC championship belt?

You can expect all this and much more on June 12 at 7 pm in the Tivoli hall, which will once again become a center of mixed martial arts!
Tickets are already on sale at eventim.si, petrol stations, 3dva newsagents and Kompas stores.
