Those of you who follow us regularly have already realized that we quickly get excited about different types of off-road vehicles and caravans. The popularity of the so-called ʺoverlandingʺ is on the rise, so it's no wonder that a little more unusual things also catch our attention. Whale Trailer Cabin, a caravan in the shape of a whale, is definitely one of them.
There's a good chance you've never seen a caravan that took its design inspiration from a large marine mammal. Whale Trailer Cabin is a caravan in the shape of a whale, with which you can transform into Captain Ahab and tow your white whale "Mody Dick" behind you. When the trailer is ``tied up'' it is compact and it's easy to drag behind you. Its organic white and blue design certainly reminds us of the image of a whale, and whatever camp you drive to, your trailer will surely be the most stood out.
At the final destination, the trailer can be stretched, which gives us a lot of extra space. The rear of the trailer opens completely, thereby increasing the interior space by almost 100%. Raised roofs provide additional height in the room, and the side entrance provides easier access to the interior. In case of good weather, an outdoor kitchen is available, which will brighten up the events around the trailer. The open side of the bed allows you to wake up with the most beautiful view possible.
Unfortunately, the trailer is currently still in developmental phase, but it is the concept of the Chinese designer Hu Yong, who wanted to offer something fresh and above all different to the Chinese ``camping'' enthusiasts. He won an award for his efforts Red Dot Design, but we are already crossing our fingers that a similar trailer appears on the European market as well.
